Your support is needed to help meet Kresge Foundation Challenge Grant
United Family Medicine is honored to have been awarded a $450,000 challenge grant from the Kresge Foundation in Troy, Michigan. Kresge has challenged UFM to raise the remaining 5% of our $14.8 million capital campaign and completes the final phase of this campaign. While we are confident we will be successful, support is still needed to ensure the success of this challenge grant. All new and increased gifts qualify for the Kresge Challenge Grant.

Kresge President and CEO, Rip Rapson, complimented United Family Practice and said, “the campaign offers United Family Medicine a strategic opportunity … to connect with stakeholders and reach out to new donors, volunteers, participants and the general community. United Family presented a compelling strategy to help leverage our challenge grant to strengthen its base of support for annual operating and program needs in the future. The Foundation is delighted that the United Family Medicine project will provide state-of-the-art, comprehensive, and culturally-appropriate primary health care services to underserved and low-income residents of the community.”

The clinic’s long-term commitment remains constant and strong, to serve the community with primary care, regardless of the ability to pay, and to teach family medicine physicians of the future – with everyone’s help UFM will leverage community support and accomplish the Kresge Challenge Grant.
